The Mission of Shiloh
Presbyterian Church is . . .
To celebrate the love
of Christ
By welcoming all,
Teaching and
sharing God's word,
And
providing spiritual nourishment
For an ever-changing
community.
Shiloh Presbyterian Church
strives to be:
-
a community of faith that
worships our living and loving God joyfully and creatively, while
upholding our Presbyterian and Reformed traditions;
-
a community of faith that seeks
to continue to grow in its understanding of the faith through sound
theological teachings for all ages in church school classes, Bible
studies, small group experiences and other educational programming
for all ages;
-
a community of faith that
responds to our call to be disciples of Christ by reaching out to
the "least of these," actively involving members in a variety of
outreach and other programs and by setting an example in our
community of what it means to be a follower of Christ;
-
a community of faith that
brings all people, regardless of age, socio-economic background,
ethnicity or other societal differences, into a closer relationship
with God by showing the compassion and love of Christ.
